2026 Mach-E GT With Performance Pack: Less Oil, More Vroom

From Transport Evolved.

It’s been almost five years since the Ford Mustang Mach-E first broke cover at the LA Auto Show — and promptly sent Mustang purists into a tailspin with its all-electric drivetrain and SUV-like stance.

Since then, we’ve had plenty of seat time with the original Mach-E and its many siblings: the Mach-E GT, Mach-E GT Performance, and most recently the Mach-E Rally.

Now, for its mid-cycle refresh, Ford has made some notable tweaks to the Mach-E family. The familiar circular gear selector on the centre armrest? Gone — replaced with a column shifter. And instead of the Mach-E GT Performance sitting at the top of the lineup, Ford has folded its capabilities into the regular Mach-E GT, unlockable via a one-time payment… or a subscription. (Yes, really.)

In this review, Nikki and Kate take the refreshed 2026 Mustang Mach-E GT with Performance Package out for a spin to see what’s changed, what’s improved, and what they still prefer from the original.
