Are Electric Pickups REALLY Greener?

Pickup trucks have long been some of the most heavily polluting vehicles on the market today. And with so many pickups purchased and registered every year, Internal Combustion Engine pickups are a big source of pollution.

Electric pickup trucks – like the Hummer EV, Rivian R1T and F150 Lightning – are offering customers an alternative to gas-guzzling pickups. But with massive battery packs, massive size and low efficiency – are electric pickup trucks REALLY greener?
