Since June 2022, every new-build home in the UK has to come with an EV charge point – but what happens if the one you get isn’t quite right for how you live?
In this video I visit John in Arundel, West Sussex. His developer-installed Rolec charger lives in the garage he now uses for storage, doesn’t support smart tariffs, and isn’t exactly something you’d proudly stick on the front of your house. So we swap it for an Andersen Quartz – and follow the whole process from the consumer side and the installer side.
