So this was the week before Christmas and a family road trip from the South Coast of England to Scotland, lots of touring around and then back again, all in 5 and a half days, the complete length of the UK.

I’m using my Porsche Taycan 4s fitted with 20” wheels and this is worst case efficiency really because we had a car loaded with luggage and family, the conditions were cold, very wet and sometimes snowy! I also wasn’t trying for efficiency so this gives an example of really about the worst efficiency scenario you could encounter.
Very real-world and at the end I’ll show you what the charging costs were and how that would compare to a petrol or diesel cars.

I’ll explain what I do for charging and why I used those locations which include Ionity, BP Pulse, Fastned, Porsche charging and Osprey.
