Ford’s Intelligent Power Backup system (as found in the upcoming Ford F150 Lightning pickup truck) could be a real game-changer for people who live in more remote areas where power cuts are common, and having a way to turn their home from their truck could save them a lot of headaches when those power cuts occur.

But while Ford has touted the technology a lot, we’ve still not really heard a lot about what’s involved. Until this week, when Ford clarified some things (and decided to not clarify other things).
