Volkswagen ID. Buzz EV full drive review. Still want that VW T6?

From The Late Brake Show.

Welcome to our (VERY eagerly awaited) first drive and walk-around of Volkswagen’s all new, all electric ID. Buzz microbus/van/MPV. WE ARE VERY EXCITED ABOUT THIS. This is a full review of the production ready VW ID. Buzz, which VW T6 Transporters owners might wanted to watch. Is this the ultimate family VW? Has the 20 year wait since Microbus, Bulli, Budd-e and Buzz concepts been worth it?

Thanks for stopping by The Late Brake Show.

Ignore the LSD swirl decals for now; you’ll be able to pick from two-tone paint finishes, and there should be bright textiles for the interior. There are also two styles on launch; the Buzz (MPV) and Buzz Cargo (a van with a partition). Jonny drove the latter, but got to peek around the former. VW wouldn’t let anyone film the cabins, though.

The Buzz drives like an ID car (shares much with ID.3 and 4), which is more impressive for a van/MPV than in the aforementioned VW ID.3 and 4. The launch model is single (rear) motor and RWD, with a 77kWh battery pack. A lower and higher range batt pack will be available in due course, but this model is good for WLTP range of 400km / 250 miles.
