When it comes to snow traction, tires are very, very, very important. After that it’s all about sending power where it’s needed. Thankfully Kia tackles both those key areas with the Telluride X-Pro. The AWD system allows you to command a near complete lock of the center coupling, the traction control can be dialed back to prevent the engine from cutting power, and the all-terrain tires do a better than average job of keeping the biggest Kia sold in America on the trail. These aren’t winter tires, or even all-weather tires, but entry-level all-terrain tires like these will be more capable than most Telluride owners ill ever truly need.
