Cadillac remains all-in on EVs with more EV models on sale now than just about anyone and more on the way. Today’s electric Caddy is the Optiq, which you can kind-of/sort-of think of as a replacement for the XT4 that ended production a while back. (ish). It’s a compact EV SUV with dimensions not far off a Tesla Model Y, solid range, OK performance, and middling charge speeds. Where does it shine? The optional AKG Atmos audio system, the price tag, and home charge times thanks to an optional 19.2 kW AC charger.
