Packing a big battery under a sleek sedan isn’t the easiest thing to do, so instead, Volvo decided to raise the roof and make the new ES90 more of a sportback/liftback/hatchback/crossover thing? Either way they are promising over 400 miles of WLTP range, insanely fast charging, next-generation processing capability and a roomier interior than the Volvo S90… Which isn’t being replaced. Yep, like the XC90/EX90, this ES90 and the S90 will be sold side by side. Will we get it in America? We’re not sure yet.
