Cloudy and windy day and no production because it is a Friday, but that doesn’t mean there was a lack of activity, far from it actually!

In the intro, I discuss some recent postings by Tesla showing FSD is being testing almost everywhere around the world, taking on many of the most difficult and challenging locations to drive and proving this technology can work well, including in Australia and with right-hand drive and some of the unique traffic patterns and maneuvers in that country. We also see FSD easily handling the huge and complex traffic circle around the Ars de Triumph in Paris.
I think this is all part of the lead up to the robotaxi unveiling and events in Austin coming up in just a few weeks as the calendar turns to June. I also think we are on the cusp of something very significant with this rollout of the robotaxi service and FSD being adopted world-wide and will be something we look back at someday and truly appreciate how amazing this accomplishment was!
I also discuss the upcoming Starship Flight 9 at Starbase and how this will affect me schedule. As of the writing of this discussion, Flight 9 was expected to take place NET 22 May 2025, but this very well may slip until after the Memorial Day weekend. I’ll keep updated on the events and details and let you know what my travel plans are.
