There is a tremendous amount of excitement about electric semi trucks. Electrifying the transportation of goods would significantly reduce greenhouse emissions but it is difficult task.
Range Energy argues that we should start with electrifying the trailers. By adding a battery, an e-motor, and some smarts to the trailer, the effect is pretty tremendous. It makes for a safer and more efficient semi truck – electric or even diesel. That’s right, this trailer can be used to vastly increase the MPG of diesel trucks too!
