Say hello to the Mercedes-AMG GT XX Concept!

It’s an all-electric concept that illustrates what the future looks like for the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door! The question is, what does Mercedes have in store for its future Porsche Taycan rival? Let’s take a closer look…

When it comes to the design, it’s one of the most striking Mercedes cars ever created! What’s more, it’s also the most aerodynamic Mercedes car ever – that’s right, even more aerodynamic than the AMG One! At the front, there’s the traditionally wide Mercedes grille design, along with vertical slats on the bonnet and sleek headlight designs. On the side, there are technologically advanced alloys that can open and close to cool the brakes when necessary. Towards the rear, there are aggressive rear haunches, a pop-up air brake, and some strikingly designed rear headlights! What’s more, there’s also NO rear window!

On the inside, the eye-catching design continues. The same-shaped steering wheel as the AMG One can be found, and there’s also a large digital dial and infotainment screen. The centre console has a design that imitates the wires that run from the front to the rear of the car, and the seats are also made of biodegradable materials! There are also paddle shifters, which suggests this car will have synthetic gear changes like in the Hyundai Ionia 5 N!

The AMG GT XX Concept will have three motors, and they will combine to create 1,360hp. The car will also use axial-flux motors over conventional radial-flux motors, which are both lighter and smaller in size. The use of these helps the car have a top speed of 224mph, and while Mercedes hasn’t released the 0-62mph figure, we expect it to run the distance in less than two seconds!

So, what do you think? If the final car looks like this, will it be a worthy successor to the AMG GT 4-Door? Let us know in the comments!
