From Mach-E VLOG.
One of the challenges for any electric car is how efficiently it can handle changes in altitude. For the ultimate EV efficiency test we decided to take one to one of the highest roads in North America. We took a 2025 Mustang Mach-E and drove it to the top of Pikes Peak in Colorado. The road starts at 7,400 feet and it is a about an 18 mile drive to the top at 14,115. Not only did we track the efficiency going up the mountain but we also tracked how much energy we gained using regen as we descended back down!
It was a fun experiment filled with lots of great views! Soon we will have a video where we did the same test in a Mini Countryman SE!
