From Alex on Autos.
Hyundai has put in serious work when it comes the Palisade and it shows! A new look inside and out, 2 new powertrains, and affordability you don’t always find in the ever more expensive car market. The highlight of the powertrains has to be the new 2.5l turbocharged hybrid system that’s not just new to the Palisade but an all new design for Hyundai. Gone is the belt connected system and in is a new 2 motor hybrid layout that is a true generational leap for the brand. Available in both FWD and AWD, you’ll get a rated 30 mpg highway no matter which trim you select and up to 34 mpg combined on the FWD SEL and SEL Premium. This doesn’t come at a loss of power, quite the opposite, with 329 hp and 339 lb ft this is the most powerful and quickest Palisade you can buy today. Prices start at $45,760 and these should be on dealer lots (at least some trims) as you watch this video.
