Gigafactory Texas! This is where Model Y’s, and Cyber Truck production happens and in 2025, the Next Generation Car(s), Cybercab & the Optimus Robot!
For today, I actually flew late Thursday afternoon for today’s video because I will be headed to Las Vegas later today for Ellie’s wedding this weekend. Fortunately, the weather, lighting and timing was perfect as I was able to capture many very interesting things today that I thought I’d share with you ahead of time.

In the introduction, I provide a correction to information I discussed on my previous video speculating a new crane at the electrical switchyard was to move transformers, when the real reason turned out to be placing a 3rd control trailer on the underground vault. I also discuss the delivery event activities and the very high production at the factory, with an overflowing east side lot in addition to overflow at the south end of the west outbound lot.
Finally, I discuss the recent news about FSD V14 rollout plan beginning next week, per a posting on X by Elon Musk I discuss what the rollout timelines are likely to be, some known and unknown features of this new, ground breaking version of FSD, and a few other important pieces of information that relates to HW3, Cybertruck and world-wide customer expectations.
A few other highlights include:
Massive new vehicle inventory, with overflow south of the W EOL, a full and overflowing E lot, and a full outbound lot! (I wonder if some of this isn’t meant for Robotaxi fleet as I think there are more cars than can be realistically delivered before the end of the quarter)
The supercharger test tent on the E side roof was missing today, so I got the 1st images of inside (empty) but interesting portable charging units with power walls … I’ve heard these are used around the factory of additional charging capabilities, but may have been in testing inside the tent)
Multiple Model Y painted BIW bodies being prepped on yard trailers for recycling … these were on the south side near stamping (which is weird) and may indicate something new with the bodies being tested
10 covered crash tested vehicles at the crash testing facility west side, along with preparations for using the flying floor and center pole crash testing equipment for potential side impact tests on the inside near the crash testing wall.
