On the 2nd Day of Boltmas, my EV took me on a more direct route for my regular 500-mile trip. This video was filmed in December of 2017, a full year after I purchased my Bolt EV. I already had nearly 40,000 miles on my Bolt EV, and the fastest public chargers were still restricted to 50 kW.

I had two reasons for showcasing this trip: First, this was my standard route when driving north to see my family for several years because I-5 still lacked public CCS coverage. Second, it showcased just how quickly I was able to travel in a Chevy Bolt EV, even using 50 kW chargers.
