Last week on TEN News Roundup, Nikki mentioned a proposed rule change in Oregon that could require EV owners to pay a per-mile tax instead of relying on traditional fuel taxes.
The details aren’t final yet — mileage could be tracked or self-reported — but for someone driving 20,000 miles a year, it could mean an extra $400 in road charges.
With Oregon set to become the second U.S. state to move forward, we’re curious what you think:
