Gigafactory Texas! This is where Model Y’s, and Cyber Truck production happens and in 2025, the Next Generation Car(s), Cybercab & the Optimus Robot!
Early morning vivid sunrise bathed Giga Texas with amazing lighting today! We also get some great views inside where MUCH progress has been made setting up production equipment & capability.

In the video introduction, we discuss recent Cybercab work inside the Crash Testing facility at Giga Texas. Hard to say for sure, but this may indicate the vehicle has completed most of the final engineering & production tests out at Fremont and what remains is now at Giga Texas.
If this follows how the Cybertruck proceeded, we are likely a month or two before we will see initial test runs of what will be the production version. This matches up with all the equipment deliveries and installation inside the factory that we have been monitoring over the past few months.
I also talk about two new trailers at the Giga Texas End-of-Line facility. These are TÜV SÜD mobile Combined Road Environmental Simulation Testing (mCREST) trailers. These units allow engineering teams to immediately access advanced, onsite BSR (Buzz, Squeak and Rattle) testing.
From the website, “This mobile, climate-controlled chamber and 4-poster system replicate real-world road conditions through high-performance Servo Electric Actuators (SEA), identifying and eliminating squeak, buzz, and rattle issues at every stage of your product lifecycle.”
“BSR testing utilizes real life data files to simulate different road profiles which helps to isolate the causes of unwanted audible noises in an automobile.
The road simulations can provide repeatability during testing. After the testing and evaluation of unwanted sounds, recommendations on how to eliminate them are provided.”
Finally, I will be headed to Starbase on Saturday for Starship Flight 11 (currently scheduled for Monday, 13 October at 6:15 PM CDT) so no Giga Texas videos on Monday or Wednesday next week. However, I will be stopping at the Tesla Corpus Christi Lithium Plant for a new video and I will be posting about Starship and Starbase.
