2025 BMW Z4 – BMW’s Roadster Matches An Inline 6 With A Manual For a Perfect Swansong

From Alex on Autos.

If the rumor mill is right (and I hope it’s not), this generation of BMW’s roadster is set to end production in early 2026 and won’t have a replacement. Whether or not we get a short-run 2026 model year or the 2025s just cling on until the bitter end, it sounds like this is the end of the road for BMW’s long-running Z4. What’s the deal? Nobody is buying the most fun BMW around, and nobody-nobody is buying the most fun version that we tested: the one with the 3.0L turbo engine and three pedals. Sad.
