The problem with 3-row crossover SUVs in the past was: they just weren’t big enough. Case in point: the Highlander. It’s sold incredibly well, but the moment that Toyota made a bigger Grand Highlander… Sales of the Highlander tanked. Hyundai’s Palisade and Kia’s Telluride made quite the splash 6 years ago because they offered more room than Pilot and Highlander for about the same price, for 2026 that’s taken to the next level with the Palisade, which gets a significant stretch. The only problem? It’s a little slow. Will the new hybrid fix that? Stay tuned because we can tell you all about it next week.
