From Alex on Autos.
Kia has added a new electric vehicle to the lineup and while this will be listed as a sedan it has a very strong "fastback" presence. There’s a clear focus on making this a more affordable model with things like a 400v architecture (vs 800v), lower speed DC charging, and only a single front motor powertrain option. Those changes from something like the larger EV6 likely won’t take away from the everyday driving experience and what you’ll end up with is a striking design, user friendly interface, functional storage capacity, and a different ownership experience to the most popular compact sedan in the EV segment; the Tesla Model 3.
