The Canadian Charging Infrastructure Council (CCIC) is a coalition of leading electric vehicle (EV) charging companies in Canada — including FLO, ChargePoint, On the Run Charging, SWTCH, Bode EV, and Papillons. Together, CCIC members operate over half of all public EV charging stations in Canada, making them a powerful voice in shaping the future of the country’s EV charging network.
In this video, we explain how the CCIC works to expand EV charging infrastructure by:
-Sharing real-world data on EV charging station performance and economics
-Offering policy recommendations to Canadian governments at federal, provincial, and municipal levels
-Highlighting how to attract private investment to scale charging networks
-Supporting the growth of Level 2 chargers, DC fast chargers, and highway charging corridors
The CCIC’s mission is simple: ensure that EV drivers in Canada have access to more reliable, convenient, and affordable charging stations. By presenting lawmakers with facts and solutions, they aim to create better EV charging policies, regulations, and incentives that benefit both consumers and businesses.
If you’re interested in the future of electric vehicles in Canada, the EV charging industry, or the transition to zero-emission transportation, this video is for you. Whether you drive a Tesla, Hyundai IONIQ 5, Ford F-150 Lightning, or any other EV model, the work of the CCIC directly impacts your ability to charge your electric car at home, at work, and on the road.
