Beautiful golden sunrise today reveals some huge announcements by Tesla, including the possible initial rollout of FSD Version 14 today to a small group of public testers, while two cryptic video clips suggest a new product(s) announcement tomorrow, 7 October! This on the heels of a record-breaking delivery and stationary energy storage numbers for the 3rd quarter and the upcoming 3rd Quarter Financial Results meeting & 6 November Shareholders Day. Really exciting news seems to keep coming for Tesla!

In the video introduction, I briefly discuss the two short video clips Tesla released on Sunday, and the news that FSD V14 initial release is imminent. I also talk about the resumption of production following a partial down week last week as well as the very visible rapid progress being made at the electrical switchyard.

There are also a lot of areas of progress at the Cortex 2 facility, with the roofing nearing the north edge, interior ground slab pour underway this morning, which will bring the slab work to about 60% of the total structure. More earthwork on the west side along with concrete pipe installation, and there are indications of a possible false floor being installed inside.

I noted a unique Model Y Body-in-White resting on the north end of the paint shop today. This one had a different rear hatch than what we see with the current Model Y variants, and a different hood. This may be related to the new product announcement expected tomorrow.

Transformers seem to be departing the site today from the far southwest material staging yard by the large white tent. Meanwhile more big deliveries were arriving on site and several yard trucks loaded up delivering crated equipment to the battery structural pack section of the factory.
