From EV Revolution Show.
My thanks to VW Canada for providing this test vehicle.
In this review, I am able to spend several days driving around and trying out all of the features to provide my honest and objective feedback.
The reinvention of a feel-good icon!
Introducing the ID. Buzz, a modern reimagining of VW’s iconic microbus. Now, the bus is back in an all-electric way.
The original microbus, known as the Type 2, came to Canada in the 1950s. During the 1960s and 1970s, the Type 2 was embraced by people who valued freedom, adventure, the spirit of exploration, and of course, quirky design.
Over the years, VW’s introduced various iterations of the microbus, from the Vanagon to the Eurovan. But one thing never changed: the good vibes.
Today, after a long hiatus in Canada, the spirit of the microbus has been fully reimagined for the modern era. The same retro-inspired shape, colours, space, and nostalgia – now with a fully electric drivetrain with instant acceleration and all the latest tech.
There’s no other vehicle quite like the ID. Buzz. It’s not just a means of transportation. It’s a lifestyle.
