Description:
Today I’m testing the Mercedes-Benz CLA 250+ at a constant 130 km/h GPS speed on the German Autobahn.
This is a short real-world test (about 100 km), not a full battery depletion test – but enough to calculate realistic highway consumption and estimated range.
Test Setup:
85 kWh battery (800V architecture)
Rear-wheel drive, 200 kW (272 hp)
17” winter tires (205 front / 225 rear)
Heat pump
4–6°C outside temperature
Heating at 21.5–22.5°C
Eco mode
Weekday traffic (A92 & A3 – trucks included)
No charging session in this video since the battery wasn’t driven low enough for meaningful DC data.
