Night Flight, Cybercab Charging Tests & Prep for Major Construction. 11 Feb 2026 Giga Texas Update (07:35AM)
Gigafactory Texas! This is where Model Y’s, and Cybertruck production happens and in 2025, the Next Generation Car(s), Cortex 1 & 2, Cybercab & the Optimus Robot!
Very early morning flight today, and I must say Giga Texas is truly beautiful at night all lit up and with the red accent lights sprinkled here and there, especially around the main entrance! It was a great day to fly early & the main video today is visually awesome with a dark sky and interesting lighting effects around the site.

In the video introduction, I discuss some of the areas inside the factory we can see today, along with some views of Cybercab tests on the east side of the factory, the west End-of-Lone (EOL) facility, near the Cybertunnel and at the Superchargers.
It seems like Tesla employees are still entering and exiting the factory production line main exit point, testing the drive routes to the EOL, and we see that they use the rear bumper supercharging port instead of inductive charging, at least for no to charge the Cybercabs.
I also talk about the vast amount of land clearing, relocation of materials, and repurposing of several areas in order to clear out other areas, such as the far southwest former contractor parking lot and material staging lots to prepare for the establishment of a new logistics center, as per a recent permit that was filed with the City of Austin (and covered on my 10 February 2026 video).
The concrete crushing work continues on the far northeast side, getting rid of all the old concrete debris from years of construction and reconstruction. The reason for this is not just site cleanup, rather to allow for more construction to begin on the north and east sides of the factory.
Farther to the north, the large rectangular and flat field is getting more attention, with an excavator and a few other pieces of equipment on the southeast area of this field, while crews are pulverizing rocks and coarse soil on the west side.
As a reminder, this large field, and the remaining sand and gravel mine hills and pond area in-between this field and lone tree field have all had soil test samples taken over the last few years, which indicates a high likelihood of new construction in this vast north area at some point in the future. Might that be this year? It is possible.
