Sedan sales are in a slump and full-size luxury sedan sales are in a near free-fall, with fewer options on sale every year. The best of the bunch for now? In my mind that’s the 7-Series from BMW. It’s not as opulent as a Maybach, but it’s a hair more discreet. It’s not as reliable as a Lexus LS… But the LS is dead. If you have over 100 large to splurge on your next ride, will a 7-series do, or would you rather X7? There’s valid argument to be made that the 7-series sedan hasn’t been BMW’s "flagship" for a while now…
