It seemed like there was nearly an Explorer for all who needed a 3 row SUV, and now they may have completed the quest. The new Ford Explorer Tremor takes everything you love about the original (including up to 400hp) and gives it a more capable, off-road twist. Along with accenting pieces (orange spice and everything nice) you also get focused performance components like a wheel and tire package made for rougher terrain, skid plates for when your ground clearance runs out (8.7 inches), and tow hooks in case your skid plates run out as well. There are ways to over do (and under do) an adventure model but Ford seems to have found a pretty good recipe with the latest Tremor, even if it isn’t "Bronco" level.
