Today we take a deep dive into the charging performance of the BMW i4 M60 ⚡
BMW claimed that the updated software should improve the charging curve, making the car faster from 10–80%. So after my range test, I tested it at an Ionity fast charger with battery preconditioning active.
In this video we analyze:
• Peak charging power
• Full charging curve behavior
• Real charging time from 10–80%
• Comparison with the older BMW i4 M50
• Whether the software update actually improved charging
The curve itself is very smooth and predictable, which makes charging planning easy — even if it’s not the fastest in class.
