From Dave Takes It On.
The widespread adoption of electric vehicles has led to a significant increase in the number of EV stations, but despite this growth, EV charging still faces a major obstacle that is often overlooked. One of the primary EV problems is the lack of accessibility at many EV charging stations, which can be a significant barrier for people with disabilities. The design of many charger systems, including the use of heavy cables, can make it difficult or even impossible for some individuals to use them. Furthermore, the overall design of EV infrastructure often prioritises functionality over accessibility, resulting in poor design choices that can exclude certain groups of people. As the world continues to transition to electric vehicles, it is essential that we address these EV problems and work towards creating more inclusive and accessible EV charging systems. By doing so, we can ensure that the benefits of electric vehicles are available to everyone, regardless of their abilities.
