Gigafactory Texas! This is where Model Y’s, and Cybertruck production happens and in 2025, the Next Generation Car(s), Cortex 1 & 2, Cybercab & the Optimus Robot!
As I get ready to head off to Europe for a few weeks to attend the Tesla Club Austria Takeover Europe event, here is an extended snapshots video clip showing a site absolutely brimming with activity. Today is also a rare production day to make up for the holiday on Monday.

In the video introduction, I provide an overview of my upcoming trip to Europe and the Takeover Europe Tesla Event and a planned tour of Giga Berlin. I’ll also be visiting 4 different countries with tour guides from several Tesla Owners Groups in each country! Pretty cool!
I also show and talk about a new video clip by Tesla showing autonomously driving Cybercabs leaving the factory exit portal and proceeding to the west outbound lot.
Related to this, I also talk about Tesla receiving certification under a new Texas Autonomous Robotaxi law allowing Tesla to operate their Robotaxi fleet at Level 4 autonomy and this is based on the software used, not the form factor … this allows Cybercabs and any other Tesla vehicle using the FSD software to be a part of the Robotaxi fleet!
Cybercabs were all over the place today, exiting the factory, driving in the outbound lot for transport pickup, many with their hatches open prepping for final inspections and more! The refreshed Tesla Semi with extended cab removed at the Crash Testing facility today too!
Construction in 4 major sites is really moving along today too, including more steel erection at the N Optimus factory site, and the extension ground reclamation work continues to progress.
The E Advanced Tech Chip fab shows more earth preparation and Cortex 2 part 2 of the cooling system getting 4 of these 6 fan units installed while more Megapacks have arrived and are being installed.
The SW Test Track is also getting work done on it, with some new excavation work and pipe installation along with new concrete curbs.
