This is Scot’s Gen 2 Rivian R1S Dual Max Pack, and after a recent drive filled with warning messages, ABS faults, reduced performance, and some very strange behavior, it was finally time for a trip to the Rivian Service Center in Knightdale.
In this video, Scot shares what happened, what the vehicle was doing on the road, and what Rivian found. As it turns out, the culprit was surprisingly simple: a disconnected rear wheel-speed sensor. She walks through the diagnosis, the repair, and why such a small issue can trigger so many warnings and drivability problems.
Scot also touches on a few other service items, including a lower fascia lamp recall and a door-handle update, before getting the R1S back on the road.
