Lacey almost made it! She and her friend Shawn drove Kyle’s 2016 Chevy Spark EV from Baltimore, Maryland, to Garysburg, North Carolina, to pick up her new-to-her 2024 Hyundai IONIQ 6. The plan was to rely exclusively on ChargePoint DC fast chargers, since the Spark has an interoperability bug with most other DC fast-charging networks. For most of the trip, that strategy worked perfectly – until it didn’t!
