Meet the new Bentley Flying Spur!

Bentley has updated the Flying Spur for 2025, and Mat’s got his hands on one to show you not only how it’s changed, but also whether it is worth considering over other luxury cruisers such as a Mercedes S-Class, or even a Rolls-Royce!

When it comes to design, there’s no denying that the Bentley just oozes style and sophistication from every angle. Up front, there are high-quality, Matrix LED headlights, and the Speed edition we have here comes with grey trim effect around the grille and other areas of the car. However, the use of plastic for the grille over metal (like you’d find with a Rolls-Royce) does cheapen it slightly. Along the side, you’ll find centre caps that always sit upright (just like a Rolls), and there’s a crease that runs along the whole side of the car to give it extra definition. Around the back, the Flying Spur looks almost identical to the previous edition, although you will find redesigned exhaust tips.

It’ll come as no surprise that the interior of the Flying Spur is absolutely lovely. The design is very similar to the previous edition, but then that’s no bad thing! Almost everywhere you touch in the cabin is covered in soft-touch, high-quality materials, from the metal paddle shifters through to the Alcantara headlining. The infotainment is quick and responsive, and there are still several physical buttons to help with some functionalities. The seats have also been redesigned and are extremely comfortable.

One big change made for the new Flying Spur can be found under the bonnet. The W12 is now GONE, and the only engines available are all V8 hybrids! But don’t worry, it’s not all bad – power output has also increased! The entry-level Flying Spur produces 680hp and 930Nm, while the range-topper puts down 782hp and 1,000Nm!

The new Bentley Flying Spur starts are £190,000, rising up to £239,000 for the Speed edition that we’re reviewing here. So is it worth it?! You’ll need to stick with Mat to see for yourself!
