Honda’s new passport is the boxy Honda, so many had been waiting for it, but it’s not quite the rugged SUV that some had hoped would take the fight directly to Toyota’s Forerunner and Jeep Grand Cherokee, but I’m actually okay with that because this is quite simply a better balance of daily driver livability and off road capability than either of those other options, although it is going to be less capable off road. Let’s talk about why and why. On balance, I think this is better than either of those other SUVs.
