We’re getting to the end of the year, and usually around this time we make a video explaining what’s been going on behind the scenes — where our support has come from, and what we’ve spent it on.

But in a world where costs are rising everywhere — where U.S. health insurance costs for the team rose by 40% over last year, and where YouTube ad revenue fell to its lowest level in more than nine years — we decided that this year we needed to be a little more frank, and a little less vague.

So here’s what 2025 has really been like for the team, what saved us, why we didn’t make it to Everything Electric in Vancouver, and what our plans are for next year.

TL;DR: We’re not going anywhere — but there are some changes coming.
