Volkswagen has officially revealed the interior of the all-new VW ID Polo (formerly ID.2), and there’s a LOT to talk about. In this video, I go through the first official images and video material to show you what’s new, what changed, and what all those buttons actually do.
Big highlights include real physical buttons instead of haptic controls, a new 13-inch infotainment screen, a redesigned digital cockpit with retro mode, updated Android Automotive software, and for the first time in a VW ID car: one-pedal driving. We also see improved materials made from recycled fabrics, four individual window switches, a proper volume knob, and a climate control bar with real buttons.
The VW ID Polo will celebrate its world premiere in April 2026, with pre-orders starting shortly after and deliveries expected in late 2026. This car marks a new era for Volkswagen, especially in the affordable electric car segment.
