There has been a lot of hype about self-driving taxis or robotaxis as Tesla calls them. When we visited, we got to try out the Zoox self-driving car. If you aren’t familiar with Zoox they are a autonomous car service that is now owned by Amazon. They are operating a few in the SF Bay Area, but those are not open to the public. In Las Vegas, they have started on a limited basis within a defined area.
In this video, we take two rides in a Zoox and give you the entire experience – no fast forwarding or skipping ahead. We wanted to give you the full experience and our immediate reactions.
