I own both a 2017 Toyota Hilux & a 2021 Tesla Model 3. The Tesla has been more reliable… Which sure, it is a few years younger, however the Tesla is on 238,000 miles, whereas the Hilux is on only 57,000.

In this video, I compare them head-to-head as I know the complete history of both these vehicles. Is this a turning point in automotive history? The Hilux, which is widely regarded as the most reliable car, in the world, has been outperformed by a moon mileage, ex taxi, Tesla model 3!
