Rivian just released Software Update 2026.03, and this one is packed with meaningful upgrades.

In this video, I break down everything new — including the enhanced Kneel Mode, which now lowers the vehicle even further and can be activated while driving under 20 mph. This makes loading, entry, and everyday usability even better.

We also finally get something owners have been asking for: Cold Weather Range Impact reporting. Now your Rivian shows exactly how much winter temperatures are affecting your range — bringing more transparency to real-world EV driving.

On top of that:
• Apple Watch improvements (even though I don’t have one)
• Unreal Engine 5.5 visual upgrades
• Sharper, more detailed driver display graphics
• Better vehicle detection at longer distances

The camera visualization now identifies vehicles more clearly and farther away — and the UI feels noticeably more refined.
