To find your audio sources and stream music from your smartphone in the 2026 Chevrolet Traverse, you will primarily interact with the standard 17.7-inch diagonal color touchscreen. To access the source menu, tap the Audio icon, which is located on the Home screen or within the vertical shortcut tray on the left side of the display. Once the Audio app is open, look for the More button or the source list on the left side of the screen; tapping this will reveal all available inputs, including FM/AM radio, SiriusXM, and your connected smartphone.

To listen specifically to music from your phone, you have two main options: Bluetooth streaming or Smartphone Projection (Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto). For a simple Bluetooth connection, tap the Phone icon to pair your device, then select "Bluetooth" from the Audio Source menu. However, for a more integrated experience, the 2026 Traverse supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Once your phone is paired for projection, a dedicated icon for your phone’s interface will appear in the sidebar or on the Home screen. Tapping this icon allows you to control your music apps directly through the Traverse’s display, or you can simply use the Google Assistant voice command to play a specific song or playlist hands-free.
