We’ve brought together two hybrid hypercar heavyweights: the outrageous Koenigsegg Regera and the extreme Ferrari SF90 XX for an all-out quarter-mile showdown!
Let’s talk stats. The Regera is powered by a 5.0-litre twin-turbo V8 paired with three electric motors, producing a staggering 1,500hp and 2,000Nm of torque. Instead of a traditional gearbox, it uses Koenigsegg’s revolutionary Direct Drive system, delivering seamless, relentless acceleration. It’s rear-wheel drive and weighs 1,590kg, and is worth around £3,000,000.
Then we have the Ferrari SF90 XX. Under the bonnet sits a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 combined with three electric motors, producing 1,030hp and 804nm of torque. Unlike the Regera, the SF90 XX sends power to all four wheels through an 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox. It’s 1,700kg, packed with aggressive aerodynamic upgrades, and is worth £674,000
So what happens when 1,500hp of Swedish innovation takes on Ferrari’s most extreme road-legal hybrid weapon? Will the Regera’s monstrous torque overwhelm everything in sight? Or will the SF90 XX’s all-wheel-drive grip and razor-sharp launch control steal the win?
