The all-new 2026 Subaru Trailseeker is a mid-size, two-row electric SUV that serves as a rugged, all-electric alternative to the popular Subaru Outback. Built on the e-Subaru Global Platform in collaboration with Toyota, it is roughly six inches longer and one inch taller than the Subaru Solterra. It has a starting price of $39,995 (plus $1,450 destination fee).
Powertrain: A dual-motor system producing a combined 375 horsepower.
Acceleration: It can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in approximately 4.4 seconds.
All-Wheel Drive: Features Subaru’s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and dual-function X-MODE for enhanced off-road traction.
Off-Road Specs: It has 8.5 inches of ground clearance.
Towing: It offers a 3,500-pound towing capacity, suitable for small boats or campers.
Battery: Equipped with a 74.7 kWh lithium-ion battery pack.
Estimated Range: The Premium model offers up to 281 miles of range, while Limited and Touring trims are estimated at 274 miles.
Charging Speed: Supports DC fast charging at up to 150 kW, which can replenish the battery from 10% to 80% in approximately 28 to 30 minutes.
