Max leased a Polestar 3 — a dealer demo with about 5,500 miles — and walks through why he pulled the trigger, including the math behind the deal. Coming from a Polestar 2, he explains what drew him to upgrade. This dual-motor Pilot and Plus Pack car is finished in Magnesium with a charcoal wool interior, 21" wheels, the Bowers & Wilkins sound system, and already has the Nvidia Orin chip installed.
He shows the demo wear, interior features, and cargo space, then breaks down the stacked incentives and discounts that made the lease work. Max also discusses where the current Polestar 3 sits in the market compared to the upcoming refresh and why he chose not to wait.
Finally, he highlights known issues and quirks, including reports of onboard AC charger failures, past software bugs, and some infotainment limitations. Charging tests and road-trip videos are coming next.
