Description:
Today I test the real-world efficiency of the BMW i4 M60 with a highway range test at 110 km/h.
Not everyone drives 130 km/h on the Autobahn all the time. Many drivers have a mix of highway and country roads, or live in countries where 110–120 km/h is the typical highway speed. So this test shows how efficient the BMW i4 M60 can be at a more moderate speed.
The i4 M60 is the most powerful version of the i4, producing around 600 horsepower with dual-motor all-wheel drive and a usable battery of around 81 kWh.
In this test the car has:
• 19-inch all-season tires
• Heat pump
• Outside temperature around 4–6°C
• Highway driving at about 110 km/h (115 km/h indicated)
At the end of the drive I calculate the real highway range and then continue with further testing.
Charge cheaper or even free with &Charge (Andcharge) by rating charging stations and collecting charging credits.
