While watching @OutofSpecMotoring Eastern Edge ( https://youtu.be/RfcTgnxDuHA?si=qzesaBO7kdB9-19s ), I was surprised to see that Team Cadillac Escalade IQ wasn’t using battery preconditioning during the race because they had been told that it only warms but does not cool the battery.

Given the results of the race, I’m sad that the Cadillac Escalade IQ didn’t get *optimized* to its full potential, and for those who own a GM Ultium EV, I wanted to give my recommendations for how they should be driven in a cannonball race type scenario.
