Gigafactory Texas! This is where Model Y’s, and Cyber Truck production happens and in 2026, the Next Generation Car(s), Cybercab & the Optimus Robot!

Cool start to the work week, but busy nonetheless. Model Y production was ramping up today for the week, with many Model Y Standards on the E temp lot. Cortex 2 chiller plant part 1 is getting more FRP beams & now pipes installed for the cooling superstructure, while Part 2 is getting more rebar & forms for the perimeter walls.

Big equipment deliveries on the N end of the building today too! Electrical switchyard expansion 2nd huge transformer getting crate deliveries today.

Giga Texas production ramping back up for a full work week today! I did a top-down view of Model Y’s exiting the factory showing the new procedure of employees driving them down the ramp & then autonomously over to the EOL facility. Many more Model Y Standards are being stored on the E side staging lot (unsure why)

We are seeing today the beams to support the 3rd Megapack being installed to support Cortex 2 on the W slider of the facility, along with more platforms, piers & conduit to support more transformers and electrical cabinetry. At the rate the work is progressing, we might begin seeing Megapack deliveries beginning in a few weeks!

Cortex 2’s Part 1 & 2 of the chiller plan continues to show rapid progress today at Giga Texas. Part 1 has much more of the FRP beam superstructure, cooling pipe installation & frames for equipment being installed. Part 2 is getting more rebar & forms for the perimeter wall along with work on the 4 “bunkers” next to the E exterior wall.
