For 2027, RAM Is Resurrecting The TRX & Finally Giving The Power Wagon a Cummins!

If there were a “big and brash” award in the auto industry a strong contender would have to be RAM. To start 2026 off we’re getting BIG announcements for the next model year and those cover both Insane Fun and Serious Capability.

Let’s start with the TRX which now has a whopping 777 hp and can do 0-60 (RAM says) in 3.5 seconds! This was already a monstrous truck when we waved goodbye in 2023 but now it’s back with a vengeance and embracing the T-Rex image even further. Fantastic suspension, packed full of goodies (including ADAS), and an exhaust note to wake the wilderness when you arrive.

Less boisterous but equally home outdoors is the Power Wagon and *drum roll* it now comes with the high output 6.7l Cummins under the hood. Over 1000lb ft of torque, front and rear lockers, and to make it all better you can now throw your gooseneck trailer into the mix because the Power Wagon is now a Power Puller with a 5th wheel attachment. With around 3,000lbs of payload and in the ballpark of 20,000lbs towing capability there’s very little this Power Wagon won’t be able to do when it arrives in the summer.
