Gigafactory Texas! This is where Model Y’s, and Cybertruck production happens and in 2025, the Next Generation Car(s), Cortex 1 & 2, Cybercab & the Optimus Robot!
It’s Friday the 13th at Giga Texas and the only thing “frightening” might be for those coming to compete with the Tesla Cybercab as there were at least a half dozen different Cybercabs driving and testing production processes today. Some were at the factory exit, some near the W EOL facility & Cybertunnel, and others were supercharging, now in groups!

In the video introduction, I discuss several new clearing & development areas that are emerging around the site, and I would say at least to me, Giga Texas is busier than I’ve seen in a long time. The feeling I get when at the factory these days is rapid expansion, preparation for Cybercab production starting in April, and overall, everyone is excited and looking to a bright future.
This future, which is kicking off across multiple new products, production lines, services and more this year is one where many hard-fought battles such as Dry electrode batteries, AI Data Centers (Cortex 1 and 2), Tesla Optimus humanoid robot development, unsupervised autonomous driving, rapidly expanding Robotaxi service across the United States, the development of the revolutionary un-boxed production processes, the production of the Tesla Semi, and a lot more are about to come to fruition in a BIG way!
I also talk about the approximately half-dozen Cybercabs driving all around the site today, from the east factory exit point, the River Road drive path over to the west End-of-Line (EOL) facility, lining up in the four sorting lanes by the EOL, and supercharging on the south end of the EOL.
To me, this is a great sign that the production line/areas are really getting dialed in, test production is ramping up a bit, & as we’ve seen from other posts, many Cybercabs are out in Austin & many other cities actively testing the Robotaxi service, getting ready and on track for April … just about 45 days from today!
For the flight today, I visit the far north where there is a lot of activity preparing the large rectangular field for future construction, the far northeast concrete crushing operations which are rapidly removing the broken concrete sections and allowing for more construction once this area is cleaned up. Further, we see clearing east of the battery cathode building, the far east and southeast sides of the site, clearing the far southwest former contracting parking lot for moved operations, possibly the east WOW yard, and a new staging yard being set up on the west side of the highway near Tesla Road. All of this and more changes indicate a wide scale effort to reconfigure the entire site to prepare for some massive new construction projects later this year!
