In a recent shopping trip, I found my way to a newly opened Mercedes-Benz High-Power Charging station in Red Bluff, California. This station is conveniently located off of I-5 and westbound CA Route 36, and it is situated in a plaza with a Starbucks and Burrito Bandito. While it is possible to nitpick some missing amenities and criticize the overall size of the charging station, my experience here was nothing short of exemplary.

It feels as though Mercedes-Benz High-Powered Charging rolled out the red carpet for this lowly, 2017 Chevy Bolt EV driver, and they clearly understand that the little things really do matter. The combination of clear, easy to follow instructions, multiple payment options, and light, ergonomic charging equipment make for a straightforward charging experience with little left to improve.
